French Heritage Society’s New York Chapter advances the organization’s mission to ensure that the treasures of French architectural and cultural heritage survive to delight, educate and inspire future generations in New York City and the tristate area.

Through programs ranging from cocktails with dynamic speakers to themed fundraising dinners, the New York Chapter funds impactful projects in France as well as the restoration of local treasures like the Venetian Room at Villa Albertine, the seat of French cultural services in the United States, housed in the Payne Whitney Mansion.

The New York Chapter also hosts the annual FHS Book Award, which recognizes and honors a contemporary work of distinction that illuminates for the general public an important element of French cultural or historical patrimony.
