Château de Septème (Isère)
A former 14th -century fortified château, rebuilt in the 15th and 16th centuries, the Château de Septème has welcomed illustrious guests such as King Charles IX and his court during the first of the Wars of Religion. It later belonged to Lafayette’s wife, Adrienne de Noailles.
