The Northern California Chapter invites you to a Spring luncheon and book-signing at a private residence to discuss Adventures at the Louvre: How to Fall in Love with the World’s Greatest Museum with its author. Elaine Sciolino is a former New York Times Paris bureau chief who will explore with us the galleries, basements, rooftops and gardens of the Louvre.  She demystifies the museum, introducing us to her favorite artworks, both legendary and overlooked, and to the people who are the museum’s lifeblood: the curators, the artisans producing frames and engravings, the builders overseeing restorations and the firefighters protecting the aging structure.

Space is limited so reply soon!

The Belvedere address will be furnished following RSVP
