Château de Gizeux (Indre et Loire)

The château features remarkable Renaissance elements including a spectacular Grand Gallery depicted several reknowned châteaux. The du Bellay family wanted to modernize the château and replicate the spirit of the court. They expanded the château during the Renaissance by constructing the main ‘U’-shapted building. Spacious reception salons were located on the second floor.
