Théâtre National de Chaillot (Paris)
Built for the 1937 World Fair, the Palais de Chaillot features exceptional 20th-century paintings, sculptures and decorations by the greatest artists of the 1930s: Pierre Bonnard, Edouard Vuillard, Maurice Denis, and young talents such as Louis Billotey, Roger Chapelain-Midy, Charles Dufresne, Paul Belmondo, Charles Malfray, and Henry Waroquier. Facing the fountains of the Trocadero, the Eiffel Tower and the Champs de Mars, it offers one of the most famous views in the world of the « City of Lights ».
