The Monnaie de Paris is an exceptional location in an historic building in the heart of Paris. Established in 864, the Paris Mint is the longest-standing French institution. It mints the euro coins in circulation in France, as well as coins for other foreign currencies. Now open to the public, it serves as a major cultural venue to host exhibitions dedicated to important figures in contemporary art.
