Beauregard-Keyes House (New Orleans)
Built in 1826, the Beauregard-Keyes House on Chartres Street in the French Quarter of New Orleans, is an outstanding example of the raised cottage style, incorporating both Creole and American features in its design. The well-detailed residence, occupied for several decades by French families, remains in its largely original condition with an elaborate entrance in the Classical style, marble mantels, and decorative plasterwork.
