Château du Taillis (Seine Maritime)

The central body of the Château du Taillis was built in 1540 in the Second Renaissance style. It is influenced by the artists employed for the construction of the Renaissance tombs in the Cathedral of Rouen. Near the Normandy Landing Beaches, major WWII re-enactments are often staged here. Taillis was also  selected to represent Normandy and benefited from the drawing of the new national lottery for heritage in peril, 3the Mission Bern” which began in 2018.
