Château de Caumont (Gers)
The Château de Caumont was built in the 16th-century after the owner’s return from the Wars in Italy where he fought alongside King François I. This explains the presence of this Renaissance gem in the heart of the Gers region. Caumont was selected to represent the Gers region and benefited from the drawing of the new national lottery for heritage in peril, “The Mission Bern,” which began in 2018.
