Château d’Oustal de Tarteron (Gard)
Oustal is located southeast of the Cévennes mountains in the south of France, listed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. This 15th-century mansion was built on the foundations of a13th-century priory.
The park was enhanced with exotic and rare species in the mid-19th century by Ernest de Tarteron thanks to the enlightened advice of his friend Eugène Mazel, creator of the Prafrance bamboo plantation in Anduze.
Cultural Project
Restoration of the “traversiers” structures built in regional-style gardens and its hydraulic system and a textile workshop.
