Please join French Heritage Society’s Boston Chapter on May 11 at the Concord School of Philosophy on the grounds of the Louisa May Alcott Orchard House for a fascinating evening with Christopher Kelly. Mr. Kelly will lead us on an exploration of the stunning Basilica of Vezelay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Burgundy, France, followed by a champagne reception.

Doors open at 5:15 pm. Talk begins at 5:30 pm sharp

The magic of Vezelay’s Basilica is world renowned. For more than 900 years, it has attracted and given inspiration to millions: kings, queens, presidents, artists, pilgrims, and visitors from all over the globe. Dedicated to Mary Magdalene, the basilica is linked to the legend of her arrival in the South of France in the 1st century, and the crypt is purported to hold a relic of this cherished saint. Legend and mystery have surrounded this beautiful building ever since its construction.
