FHS is thrilled to announce that Ambassador Philippe Etienne is the guest of honor at our annual Dîner des Mécènes / Paris Gala at the Cercle de l’Union Interalliée. Ambassador Etienne will deliver an insightful presentation on his diplomatic missions as “The Ambassador of French-American Friendship”.
After serving as Ambassador to Germany from 2014-2017, he was appointed diplomatic advisor at the Elysée Palace before he served as Ambassador to the United States in 2019. He currently serves as the President of the Mission for the 80th Anniversary of the Landings, the Liberation of France and Victory during World War II, an initiative of the French government focused on organizing events commemorating D-Day, the liberation of France, and the Allied victory, primarily taking place in 2024 and extending into 2025.
