The Chicago-Midwest Chapter invites you to Paris on the Prairie: Power and Planning, a walking tour led by Caroline Hugh, an FHS Education Program Intern currently studying at the University of Chicago.
About the Tour
This summer, the whole world was watching Paris at the Olympic Games. As we turn our attention back to Chicago, now is the perfect time to learn how these two cities are deeply interconnected. From Worlds Fairs to world-changing protests, come see how the City of Light has shaped the City of Big Shoulders as we stroll through Chicago’s Loop.

– Tour starts at the old Columbus statue, SW corner of Grant Park (354 Roosevelt Rd, just off the Museum Campus Metra stop). Closest parking lot: covered SP+ lot at 1200 S Indiana Avenue.
