Les Vieilles Maisons Françaises ia an association dedicated to the preservation of built heritage and landscape, is an association which acts to strengthen funding for heritage, and heritage education and training.
La Demeure Historique is a historic association of private monuments who represents more than 3,000 châteaux, manors, abbeys, or mansions throughout France, and advises owners about sustainability and promotes historic preservation and cultural heritage.
Fondation Mérimée (formerly Fondation pour les Monuments Historiques) works to safeguard and ensure the longevity of France’s historic monuments—both listed and classified, whether privately or publicly owned (castles, abbeys, churches, gardens, etc.), as well as their surroundings. Recognized as a public-interest and sheltering foundation in 2018, it promotes the restoration and accessibility of protected heritage, primarily through the allocation of financial aid.
Le Comité des Parcs et Jardins de France is a committee who federates the activities of French national and regional associations concerned with parks and gardens, especially their promotion and protection of adjoining landscapes.
