The FHS Houston Chapter and Alliance Francaise de Houston invite you to a presentation by Edgar Brossollet, a PhD candidate at the History department of Sorbonne University. Mr. Brossollet’s work focuses on nineteenth century French-American relations, particularly the life and legacy of Henri Castro, one of the leading colonizing agents of Texas.
The discussion, entitled “France and the Making of New Nations in North America: The United States, Mexico, and Texas (1776-1836)” will be accompanied by aperitif and finger food.
