The Philadelphia Chapter invites you to enjoy an afternoon garden tour followed by a fabulous Bastille Day celebration at the private residence of FHS members Susan and Dan Katzin.
About the Tour
The Winterthur “Wild Garden” sits alongside nearly 1,000 acres of meadows, farmlands and waterways.
Ride the “Winterthur Tram” from the entrance gates for a narrated tour through the Dupont gardens up to the Main House, former home of the Dupont family who arrived in the United States from France in 1800 and now houses one of the nation’s premier collections of American Decorative Arts. Winterthur opened as a museum to the public in 1951.
About the Celebration
We will convene just five minutes away from Winterthur for live music, an open bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres, a raffle, and silent auction.
