Monday, December 17, 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Event Navigation

The Co-Chairmen of the Young Friends Circle Paris,  Luis de Lencquesaing, Béryl Moizard, Eric Pellerin de Turckheim, and Victoire de Vaugelas invite you to a Conversation with Thierry Wasser, Director for the Creation of  Perfumes at Guerlain

Considered as the spiritual son of Jean-Paul Guerlain, Thierry Wasser became Guerlain’s new « nose » in 2008. Jean-Paul Guerlain entrusted him with the very secret “Book of Formulas”, transmitted in the family from generation to generation. It also reveals all the know-how and all the mysteries of an olfactory heritage unique in the world. Thierry Wasser continues the work of his predecessors and creates such perfumes as Idylle, Habit Rouge Water, Shalimar Parfum Initial. He also reinterpreted the famous Guerlinade for La Petite Robe Noire, the last must of the House.

Elisabeth Sirot, Director of Heritage, will also offer a visit to the famous Maison Guerlain 68 Avenue Champs-Elysees whose building was built in 1914 by the architect Charles Mewès, to whom we also owe the Ritz Hotel in Paris and the Carlton in London.

The visit will be followed by the traditional glass of champagne so that we can meet and chat with our guests.
