Update: The safety and well-being of our members, friends and staff are our top priority. In an effort to take precautions related to the COVID-19 outbreak, and to support the city’s efforts to contain the spread of the virus, FHS’ Dîner des Mécènes has been rescheduled for Wednesday, September 30th.
Dîner des Mécènes Co-Chairmen Sarah de Lencquesaing, Ariane Marquet de Vasselot and Cassandra Surer invite you to attend FHS’ annual Paris Gala at the prestigious Cercle de l’Union Interalliée.
Our distinguished Guest of Honor will be Princesse Marie-Sol de La Tour d’Auvergne, FHS’ President Emeritus and “Ambassadeur du patrimoine.” She was President of FHS from 1993-2008 and instrumental in the association’s development. She has a passion for heritage, which she came by through her ancestral family château d’Ainay-le-Vieil in the Berry region, and especially for gardens. She recreated magnificent gardens at the château and is on the Board of Directors of the Fondation des Parcs et Jardins de France where she has developed an ambitious program in Russia to promote historic gardens and organized many exchanges with France.
Your participation in this evening also helps support FHS’ mission to preserve the French architectural heritage in France and the U.S., transmit skills and knowledge in the field of culture and heritage preservation to train tomorrow’s leaders and to promote the French cultural heritage.
