Update: Given the severity of the news about COVID-19, we have decided to reschedule the FHS members’ trip to May 17-19, 2021. The safety and well-being of our members, friends and staff are our top priority and we are so looking forward to traveling once again with our members as soon as it is safe to do.
Members at all levels are invited to join FHS for a specially curated trip that includes exploring the stunning medieval city of Carcassonne and exclusive visits to two FHS grant recipients – the majestic Abbaye de Lagrasse and the beautiful Abbaye de Fontfroide. We will also tour one of the most famous vineyards in the region, Château l’Hospitalet, where owner Gérard Bertrand will offer us a private visit and dinner. Château l’Hospitalet’s Grand Vin Rouge AOP La Clape 2017 was awarded the prize for best red wine in the world (International Wine Challenge Champion Red Wine 2019). Since no FHS trip would be complete without equally delicious culinary experiences, we will dine in Michelin-starred and recommended restaurants.
