In the spirit of Franco-American friendship, this special trip will include many of the sites and vineyards visited by Thomas Jefferson during his travels throughout the region. It will feature unforgettable private visits and dining experiences with several of the owners of Brodeaux’s most exquisite châteaux, steeped in the region’s wine-making history.
Curated and led by George Sape, a wine collector and connoisseur of international renown, he holds the rare distinction of Honorary Member of l’Académie du Vin de Bordeaux. He is one of the most prominent members of the Commanderie des Vins de Bordeaux, where he served as Maître, the Commanderie du Bontemps Médoc, des Graves, de Sauternes et de Barsac and President of the American Friends of la Cité du Vin.
